The Victim Services division of the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office assists victims of crime throughout the court process. The Victim/Witness Coordinators provide:

  • Information about the criminal court process
  • Notification about case developments
  • Emotional support throughout court proceedings
  • Accompaniment to meetings and court proceedings
  • Assistance with matters of restitution and property recovery
  • Referrals to other community services
  • Assistance in seeking reimbursement through the Arkansas Crime Victims Reparations Board for medical, burial, counselling, and other expenses
  • Assistance in registering for victim notification through the VINE Electronic Notification System and/or the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Services provided by the Victim Services division of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney are free of charge.
