Twentieth Judicial Prosecuting Attorney
Phone: 501-450-4927

Carol Crews is the Prosecuting Attorney for the 20th Judicial District, which is comprised of Faulkner, Van Buren, and Searcy counties. She was first elected in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. Crews is the first female to hold this position in the 20th Judicial District.  Crews has spent her entire legal career as a prosecutor, serving in both the 6th and 20th judicial districts, with a particular emphasis on crimes against children and violent crime. The judicial district handles thousands of criminal cases each year. Crews believes the job of the Prosecuting Attorney is to seek justice on behalf of the community, and to zealously prosecute those who harm children and choose to engage in violence. The Prosecuting Attorney plays an integral role in working with law enforcement to protect the most vulnerable in the community from violent criminals and predators.

Crews graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2004 and a Juris Doctor from the William H. Bowen School of Law in 2007. She has been appointed by Governor Asa Hutchinson to serves as the prosecutor representative on the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council and was appointed by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders to serve on the Arkansas Sentencing Commission. She also serves on the Arkansas Prosecuting Attorney’s Association’s legislative committee. Crews lives in Conway with her husband and their children.”
