This is an important message from the Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management:

County Judge Allen Dodson has submitted a verbal disaster declaration for our county due to yesterday’s storms. We are required to submit damage documentation to see if our county can qualify for disaster assistance.

If you had damage and live in the city limits of Conway, please call the Conway Fire Department at 501-450-6147 to report your damage.

If you had damage and live in the county anywhere outside the city limits of Conway, please call the Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management at 501-450-4935.

Please submit your damage reports by 4:30 pm on Thursday, June 29. Thanks for your assistance.


STORM DEBRIS PICKUP

The City of Conway and/or Faulkner County will provide curbside pickup service for vegetative debris (that is, trees and limbs) from storm damage. The trees and limbs must be cut no longer than 12 feet and no shorter than 4 feet, if possible.

After moving the vegetative storm debris to the curbside or County Right of Way, call one of the following numbers during normal business hours to request pickup.

Within the city limits of Conway: Call the Mayor’s Office at (501)450-6110 to request pickup. Once again, City of Conway residents may call (501)450-6110.

All other residents within Faulkner County: Call the Faulkner County Office of Emergency Management at (501)450-4935. Once again, for Faulkner County residents outside the City of Conway, call (501)450-4935.

No structural debris will be accepted.
